I think you mean "A Sort Of Homecoming" from the same EP, don't you? That version was reportedly recorded at soundcheck 15 November, 1984 at Wembley, with the crowd noise dubbed-in later by the great Tony Visconti. Regardless, Wide Awake In America --- 'though it contains but 2 "live" tracks --- is easily one of the best live releases by any band or artist from the 1980's. "The Three Sunrises" is another gem that wouldn't have been at all out of place on The Unforgettable Fire. |
